Biblical Context

God calls Moses, Aaron, and Miriam to the tabernacle; the Lord descends in a pillar of cloud and calls them forth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Whenever the I AM within you calls you to the inner tabernacle, you feel the sudden hush of the mind, and the 'three' steps forth—your will, your understanding, and your instinct—each summoned to stand in the light. The pillar of cloud is not a distant storm but the descent of awareness, standing in the doorway of your assumed self and inviting you to revise it. The moment you answer, you become aware that God’s judgment is simply inner alignment: old judgments, fears, or vanity are shown up so you can release them into the unity of your true state. Providence and Guidance become practical: you are led by the sense that you are already the presence you seek. The verse invites you to stop chasing external signs and to awaken to the fact that you are always within the Tabernacle, always in the sight of I AM. In your quiet, you can hear the directive: re-align, revise, and rest in the conscious life you already are.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are inside the inner tabernacle; invite the three faculties to stand in the light of I AM, then revise any limiting state into the truth of your united consciousness.
