First Seek The Inner Kingdom

Matthew 6:33 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 6 in context

Scripture Focus

33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33

Biblical Context

Matthew 6:33 urges you to place the kingdom of God and His righteousness before all else. By doing so, inner alignment creates the conditions for outer needs to be met.

Neville's Inner Vision

Seek first the kingdom is a call to turn within, not to chase external signs. The kingdom is a state of consciousness—the I AM awake in you—where you assume order, sufficiency, and harmony. When you embody that inner rule, the world responds as a faithful mirror, rearranging circumstances to fit the new inner law. The 'all these things' are already yours in consciousness, awaiting recognition by your attention. Do not beg for them in the market of appearances; rest in the truth that you are the ruler of your inner landscape. You impress the outer by the conviction you carry inside: you are one with the divine order, and your life follows the rhythm of that inner reality. Practice this now by returning your awareness to the inner kingdom each time you feel lack, and reaffirm, 'I am within the kingdom; the kingdom is within me.'

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, declare 'I am within the kingdom now,' and feel the calm, sufficiency, and order as if it were your lived reality. Then observe a small daily result that confirms inner alignment.
