Seek First the Inner Kingdom
Matthew 6:31-34 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus counsels not to worry about daily needs; the Father knows what you require. The invitation is to seek the inner kingdom first, and the outer needs align.
Neville's Inner Vision
Take the verse as a doorway into your present consciousness. The command 'take no thought for tomorrow' is not a rejection of planning, but a turning of attention from outward conditions to the inner I AM that knows you and provides. The kingdom of God is not a distant country; it is the state of awareness you inhabit right now. When you realize that your 'heavenly Father' is the living you—the awareness that never sleeps—you see that all the needs you worry about arise as forms in response to inner states. To seek first the kingdom and his righteousness is to fix the sense of sufficiency at the center of your being, thereby inviting your life to rearrange itself to reflect that inner conviction. As you dwell there, the anxiety about food, drink, and clothing dissolves; the morrow becomes a thought you bless rather than a weight you bear. You are not asking the world to change; you are changing your inner agreement with it, and the world follows the transformed agreement. Your life is the dream you choose to inhabit with unwavering faith in your true supply.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the feeling of the complete supply right now: 'I AM the kingdom; I want for nothing.' Rest in that state until it feels real, then carry that assurance into today.
