Inner Provision and Presence

Matthew 6:27-30 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 6 in context

Scripture Focus

27Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Matthew 6:27-30

Biblical Context

Jesus asks who can grow by worrying and points to the lilies as proof that growth and provision come from inner alignment, not toil; God clothes the field and will clothe you as well if faith is active.

Neville's Inner Vision

The verse reveals that thought is a state of consciousness. To take thought is to dwell in lack and separation from the I AM within. The lilies grow not by spinning but by the natural order of inner being expressing itself; Solomon's glory is outshined by a field flower because true abundance is an inner accuracy, not external effort. If God clothes the grass today and tomorrow, surely the inner state of you—your awareness—will be clothed and guided. Your faith is a shift of state, not a problem to solve. Sit in the recognition that you are the awareness through which all provision flows. Do not chase external things; revise your assumption until you feel the reality of sufficiency. The Father within you is mind and presence; when you rest there, provision comes as naturally as dawn.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, align with the I AM within, and repeat softly: 'I am provided for now.' Feel the truth in your body until it becomes your lived state.
