Biblical Context
Luke 22:34 records Jesus telling Peter he will thrice deny knowing Him before the rooster crows. It frames denial as a human response under pressure within a prophetic context.
Neville's Inner Vision
Peter stands for a state of consciousness that has not fully awakened to its oneness with the Christ within. The 'deny' is not about a man called Peter; it is the ego's habit of saying I do not know the truth of your union with God when pressure is applied. The cock's crow marks the moment the inner conviction that you are separate would rise to awareness. But this is not punishment; it is guidance: denial arises from fear and habit, not from a fixed fate. The prophecy invites you to turn inward and notice that every denial is a misalignment of your imaginative state. To work this in your life, assume the state of knowing Him now; revise the scene in your imagination, feel the certainty of His presence within, and declare, I know Him; I am with Him; the I AM in me is awake. When you dwell in that posture, the outer world shifts to reflect that inner recognition.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Assume the state of constant awareness of the I AM; at the moment of tension, revise the inner scene by affirming, 'I know Him; I am with Him,' and feel the reality as if it were now.
