Biblical Context
Jesus warns to beware deception and not fear upheavals; though persecutions will come, the end is not immediate, and endurance preserves the soul.
Neville's Inner Vision
This passage asks you to wake to the fact that the world of events is the outward echo of an inward state. The warning about false Christs and wars is not about conspiracies outside you, but about states of mind you entertain within. When you feel led to panic by outward signs, remember: the end is not by and by because your end is the realization of your I AM presence now. I will give you a mouth and wisdom is the spoken gift of your established inner authority, the still quiet witness which cannot be gainsaid by any voice of fear. Your greatest trials—persecution, betrayal, hatred—are opportunities to prove your allegiance to the one principle: consciousness. You are asked to endure not by bracing the outer world but by remaining loyal to the inner decree, 'I am', and letting patience transfer into your souls. By settling this inward certainty, you turn every external event into testimony of your inner kingdom.
Practice This Now
Assume the state of the witness now and feel it real. Revise any fear by declaring I AM here, and let your heart listen for the wisdom that answers when you are questioned.
