Inner Kingdom Proclaimed Now

Luke 21:31-36 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Luke 21 in context

Scripture Focus

31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Luke 21:31-36

Biblical Context

The passage declares the kingdom of God is near when the signs appear. It urges readiness through vigilance and constant prayer, lest the day catch you unawares.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, hear the inner gospel: when the outward signs arise, the kingdom of God is not distant; it is the awareness you entertain now. The 'these things' you see are inner movements, and the signs point to a consciousness you can claim. Heaven and earth may pass away, but your inner decree remains true: I AM, and with that I create. If your heart becomes overcharged by surfeiting, by the intoxication of senses, or by the cares of life, you invite the day's snare. Yet you can escape by turning within and assuming that you stand before the Son of Man in this moment. Watch the inner weather—your thoughts, feelings, and images—without judgment, and revise them with the conviction that the kingdom is at hand in your own consciousness. The generation you fear is simply the current state you have accepted; by returning to the I AM, you dissolve that snare and awaken to the truth that your words do not pass away. You are the living echo of the eternal decree.

Practice This Now

In the next moment, close your eyes, breathe, and assume you are already before the Son of Man in your own kingdom; feel the I AM presence and let current worries soften.
