Nearness of the Inner Kingdom

Luke 21:31-32 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Luke 21 in context

Scripture Focus

31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
Luke 21:31-32

Biblical Context

The passage says that when the signs appear, you should know the Kingdom of God is near. It also asserts that fulfillment comes in the present moment for this generation.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the signs not as future events in some distant time, but as occasions when your consciousness awakens to its own sovereignty. The kingdom is not outside you; it is the state of awareness you inhabit. When you observe these things in your life, let them be reminders that the I AM within you stands at hand, ready to press into form. Time is a symbolic rhythm, and the promise that this generation shall not pass away means your current pattern of belief can be fulfilled now. You are not waiting for a political or historical moment; you are waiting for a conscious decision to claim the kingdom as your immediate reality. Imagination is the creative instrument that aligns your inner state with outer experience. By insisting that the kingdom is near, by feeling the I AM as present and whole, you bring the fulfilled prophecy into your own atmosphere. Do not chase external signs; revise your inner script until the sense of completion feels utterly natural.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare I AM the Kingdom of God within me. Revise any sense of lack by affirming that the kingdom is near and all fulfillment unfolds in my consciousness now; feel it as real.
