Biblical Context
In Luke 21:14-19, Jesus directs believers to settle in their hearts and trust that a divine mouth of wisdom will be given, even as betrayals, hatred, and trials arise, with patience preserving the soul.
Neville's Inner Vision
Settle it in your heart is not a panic-speech but a claim of the I AM. You are not waiting for outer change to feel secure; you embody the consciousness that already holds you, and through that identification a mouth and wisdom arise spontaneously. The words that come forth are not born of fear or defense but of living awareness you are. Persecution, betrayal, and hatred appear as outer signs only when you forget your unity with the source. In truth, not a hair of your head will perish because your real self is eternal awareness, untouched by changing circumstances. Therefore patience is the practice of remaining in that state of sufficiency you already are—holding the vision that you are the wisdom and the security behind every event. When you rest in this truth and refuse to quarrel with lack, your soul is possessed with a peace that underwrites every outcome. The adversaries and the conditions around you become mirrors of your mind, not masters of your life; your inner state, ignored or obeyed, determines every outward turn.
Practice This Now
Assume the state now: 'I AM the mouth of wisdom; I am guided by divine intelligence now.' Revision: 'Not a hair of my head shall perish'—feel that truth as you breathe and let it radiate through you in every response.
