The Mouth Within Wisdom

Luke 21:14-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Luke 21 in context

Scripture Focus

14Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
Luke 21:14-15

Biblical Context

Luke 21:14-15 counsels not to premeditate our replies, for the I AM within will grant us words and wisdom that no opponent can refute.

Neville's Inner Vision

Luke 21:14-15 teaches a discipline of inner assurance: settle it in your heart that you need not scheme or rehearse your reply, for the I AM within will supply a mouth and wisdom. In Neville’s view, the outer scene is but a mirror of your inner state. When you refuse to premeditate, you release the old habit of lack and invite a fresh conviction that your consciousness is the source of every word. The words are not manufactured from fear or calculation, but pronounced from the established reality of your divine self. As you entertain the assumption that you already possess perfect discernment and eloquence, your inner imagination begins to move as if the interview has already occurred; the challenged moment becomes a scene where wisdom speaks freely, and no adversary can gainsay it. Thus, you stand unshaken, not by clever rhetoric, but by the conviction that I AM speaks through you now. The promise is not future; it is the present power of awareness obedient to truth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume, I AM speaking through me now. Feel the words forming as you would experience a seasoned, calm voice, confident and true.
