Inner Testimony Through Persecution
Luke 21:12-19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Luke 21 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus warns of coming persecution. These trials turn into a testimony when you hold to your inner state.
Neville's Inner Vision
You are not being attacked by men; you are being invited to awaken as the I AM. The outer order—hands laid on you, prisons, rulers, betrayals—are simply the stage on which your inner self acts. When you settle it in your heart that you need not rehearse any answer, you align with the source of all speech. The I AM within you will supply a mouth and a wisdom that none can gainsay; this is not a talent you acquire but a state you assume. Some will betray you, even those closest to you, and some may die to appearances; yet these are the friction that proves your inner endurance. The truth is that not a hair of your head can perish when you stand in the unchanging you. In your patience possess your souls means: hold to the inner state until it becomes your outer life. As you dwell in this awareness, the external events will testify to the reality you have assumed.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, declare 'I am the I AM,' and assume you are already speaking with perfect wisdom in any circumstance; feel that certainty in your body and let the imagined words rise easily.
