Luke 18:42-43

Biblical Context

Jesus heals a blind man by commanding him to receive sight. The man’s faith saves him, he immediately sees, and he follows Jesus while people praise God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Jesus’ command, Receive thy sight, is not a mere physical directive but a summons to awaken the latent sight of consciousness. The man’s faith is the inward submission of I AM to its own radiance—an act of choosing to identify with the light that I am. When he trusts explicitly in that inner light, the sense of darkness dissolves; the restoration of sight arises as the natural fruit of inner alignment, and he begins to follow, glorifying God. The crowd's praise is the outer echo of an inner transformation: when one asserts the reality of awakened awareness, the world reflects the yes of consciousness. So too with you: the moment you decide that you are the light that sees, your world rearranges to match that vision. Your task is to dwell in the one reality—the I AM—knowing that faith is not a concession to conditions but the recognition of your own creating power.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume the state 'I AM sight now' until it feels real; then imagine yourself walking in light, following your inner guide and giving thanks.
