Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
In this scene a man in need approaches Jesus and asks to have his sight restored. Jesus responds by naming the healing as the fruit of the man's faith, and the moment of sight is followed by praise.
Neville's Inner Vision
This Luke passage is a map of inner awakening. The beggar is not a beggar of coins but a state of consciousness saying I am without vision until the I AM speaks within. When Jesus asks what you would have me do for you, the inner self answers with the felt truth of sight. Receive thy sight is not a command to a body but a decree to an inner conviction. Thy faith hath saved thee means your faith, properly directed, has already done the saving—see becomes possible the moment you accept the possibility as real in your inner atmosphere. The moment the sight returns, the man follows, glorifying God; the outer gratitude is the outward demonstration of an inner alignment. The many who witness are the social thoughts that applaud your inner victory; yet you remain the I AM, the one aware, and your world adjusts to that light. Practice: close your eyes, assume you see now, feel the sensation of light filling your head, and let gratitude flood your heart while walking in your imagined certainty.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine a newborn light at the center of your brow. Declare that you now see clearly, and walk about in that certainty with a grateful heart.
