Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus gathers the twelve and says they go to Jerusalem to fulfill what the prophets spoke concerning the Son of Man. He predicts that the Son will be delivered, mocked, scourged, killed, and rise again on the third day.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this scene the Jerusalem of the text is your inner city of awareness. The Son of Man is the Christ within you, the realized awareness that witnesses every event. When Jesus says that all that is written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man shall be accomplished, he is pointing to the inner certainty that your life is already arranged by your own I AM. The outward procession—being delivered to Gentiles, mocked, scourged, and killed—are not external happenings but inner movements of mind: the old self, the opinions of the world, the sense of separation being pressed, redefined, and dissolved. Yet these movements have already fulfilled the prophecy of your ascent: the third day rise is your inner renewal, a rebirth of consciousness into a state that no longer identifies with defeat. Trust that the vision of prophecy is fulfilled now, within, and allow your imagination to align with that finished action, letting present awareness stand as witness to the completed decree.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the state of the risen Christ within you. Feel the truth now that all prophetic words concerning the Son of Man are fulfilled in your mind, and you rise.
