Biblical Context
In Luke 18:15–17, Jesus welcomes infants and declares the kingdom belongs to those who receive it like a child. The message calls for inner openness over striving.
Neville's Inner Vision
View the scene as a symbol of your inner state, not a distant event. Children embody openness, receptivity, and trust—the very posture in which the I AM is most awake. The infants in the narrative represent your willingness to be taught by God in the present moment. The disciples’ rebuke mirrors the stubborn habit of needing to prove yourself, a state of consciousness that resists grace. Jesus’ invitation to come to him and to receive the kingdom as a little child invites you to abandon argument and enter by feeling. The kingdom, then, is not a distant realm you must reach but a living state of awareness you assume now. When you act from childlike trust—expectant, unafraid, curious—you align with the I AM that you already are. Imagination is the lever: by assuming, by revising your self-image to 'I am welcomed in this moment,' fear dissolves and the world reorders to reflect that inner state. Practically, this is your daily renewal: seek to feel, not to figure; to receive, not to earn; and watch consciousness fashion experience that mirrors your inner acceptance.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, picture Jesus inviting you to come as a child; feel the I AM touching your heart, and silently declare, 'I receive the kingdom now, just as a child receives a gift.'
