Biblical Context
Philip goes to Samaria and proclaims Christ. The people listen as miracles unfold—unclean spirits depart, bodies are healed, and a great joy rises in the city.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of Samaria as the territory of your present consciousness where you allow a new story to occupy the center. Philip is your inner speaker of truth, the I AM within that goes down into the city of your daily thoughts and preaches Christ—the awareness of your divine nature. As you listen with one accord, you align your feeling with the words spoken, and the miracles you see are not external tricks but the inner movements by which old fears are cast out. Unclean spirits crying out become the release of long-held doubts; palsies and infirmities are the old contracts your mind has made with lack dissolving in the light of a new conviction. And the result is joy—actual felt uplift in your inner weather, which then spills over into your outer experience. You are not seeking miracles; you are consenting to the truth that you are the I AM, and imagination is the instrument through which Christ is made manifest here and now.
Practice This Now
Assume you are already whole as the Christ within; in the next moment, mentally hear your inner Philip declare, 'Christ in me is shown now.' Feel the joy rise and let it saturate your being; carry that feeling through your day.
