Samaritan Word Awakening
Acts 8:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Acts 8 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The apostles in Jerusalem hear that Samaria has received the word of God, so they send Peter and John to them.
Neville's Inner Vision
Acting as the I AM within, I hear the report of Samaria waking to the word. This is not a geographical event but a shift in consciousness: a region of mind previously parted from truth now accepts the gospel of your own being. The Jerusalem state—the higher realm of awareness—sends Peter and John, the apostolic faculties of faith and discernment, to confirm and solidify this awakening in the field of your life. When a part of you believes, the entire psyche is informed; the boundary between 'them' and 'us' dissolves, and the witness becomes one. The act of sending Peter and John is the invitation for your attention to move toward the newly awakened area, to feed it with the word until it becomes habitual, until your acts, thoughts, and feelings bear witness to the redemption already accomplished in consciousness. Know that salvation here is a shift in awareness from doubt to conviction, from separation to union. As this inner reception deepens, your mission and witness outwardly unfold as a natural expression of what you have inwardly believed.
Practice This Now
Assume the inner Samaria has already received the word; in a quiet moment, imagine Peter and John entering your mind to confirm the truth. Feel it as real now.
