Read 2 Peter 3 in context

Scripture Focus

14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
2 Peter 3:14

Biblical Context

Beloved, the verse urges diligent living so you may be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless. It points you toward inner alignment that prepares the outer expression.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, you are not waiting for a distant perfection; you are the very becoming of peace that God is looking upon. The I AM within is your true self; places are states of consciousness. To be found by Him in peace, without spot, and blameless, is to align your inner atmosphere with the state you desire. Think of peace as a definite mood you can dwell in: a bold, quiet center that is unshaken by appearances. Diligence is not toil but steadfast attention to the reality you prefer, a daily revision of any thought that contradicts that peace. When you entertain the image of yourself as blameless and at ease, you impress the pattern upon the subconscious and awaken the divine response in your life. Your future event becomes your current sensation because imagination creates reality. So cultivate the feeling that you are already arrived at the harbor of peace, and meet each moment as the loved, spotless, mature self that God already knows you to be.

Practice This Now

Assume the state now: close your eyes and feel yourself as the peaceful, blameless self already seen by God, and hold that image for five breaths. If fear or doubt arise, revise the scene with, 'I am loved, I am free, I am in peace.'
