Inner Decree Before Judgment

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Zephaniah 2:2 urges you to prepare inwardly before the Lord's decree and anger are expressed in outward events.
Neville's Inner Vision
Zephaniah 2:2 speaks not of future doom, but of your inner weather. The decree and the day of the LORD arise from your present state of consciousness; the fierce anger is the outward burst of an internal fear you have not yet revised. Before that decree can bring forth in the world, you must turn inside and choose a new assumption. The chaff—those passing appearances of lack and doubt—drifts away when you stand in the I AM, the awareness that you are the decree in disguise. The presence of God is right now, within you as your very being; when you inhabit that I AM, you align the inner tone with outer events, and judgment gives way to calm. Do not fight the day; revise your inner story until the day reflects your new sense of self. The moment you settle into the truth that you are the creator, the outer unfolds in harmony with that truth.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly and declare, I am the I AM; the decree is already established in my consciousness. Stay with that feeling until fear dissolves and the day outward follows the inward decree.
