I read Zechariah 9:10 and hear the inner decree that the chariot and the horse and the battle bow are dropped from the stage of my life. Not as history but as the state of consciousness I may enter right now. Weapons vanish in my mind when I refuse to identify with fear and struggle; they disappear the moment I feel the I AM in command. The promise of peace to the heathen translates to my speaking peace to the restless thoughts inside me, and the rest of the world follows the tone of that inward word. When I assume the kingly certainty that my dominion is from sea to sea and from the river to the ends of the earth, I am not declaring conquest over others but over the turbulence of self. The entire earth becomes a field of my awareness, every circumstance, every sensation, so long as I dwell in the sovereign status of I AM. This is prophecy fulfilled in the present, a practical transformation through imagination.
