Neville's Inner Vision
These verses are not a history lesson but an invitation into your own consciousness. Zechariah speaks of Zion as the city of truth and Jerusalem as the mountain of the Lord—an inner state in which jealousy for what is good becomes a holy fervor to restore harmony. The scattered remnant, the elders and children, symbolize parts of you that have wandered; God says I will be their God in truth and righteousness, which means alignment in your sense of being. When you feel your life is lacking peace, remember you are not chained to the past but called to a new assumption: I am returning to Zion, I am dwelling in the midst of my own heart; in this inner city, truth governs every gate. The decree 'let your hands be strong' becomes your resolve to stand in integrity, to speak truth, to refuse evil imaginings and false oaths. In that inner atmosphere, prosperity, dew, and blessing flow; the remnant becomes a blessing to the nations, and people begin to acknowledge that God is with you in consciousness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and declare: I am Zion; in my mind the gates of truth are open and peace reigns. Then feel the strength to act from integrity today.
