Inner Walls of Fire Vision

Zechariah 2:4-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Zechariah 2 in context

Scripture Focus

4And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
5For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
Zechariah 2:4-5

Biblical Context

Jerusalem is depicted as a city that will be inhabited securely, with God surrounding it as a wall of fire and His glory residing at its center.

Neville's Inner Vision

Let the words expose a truth about your inner state. Jerusalem is your state of consciousness, a city you already reside in when you accept that you are, here and now, the I AM. The phrase I will be unto her a wall of fire round about means your awareness wraps you in a protecting radiance, a boundary formed not of stone but of steadiness of attention. And the glory in the midst is the living brightness of your true nature shining through every circumstance. The multitude of men and cattle signals abundance—not an external crowd to conquer, but the overflowing fulfillment your imagination yields when you dwell in the feeling that what you desire is already yours. Practice shifting the scene inside, not laboring to change outward events. Assume the feeling of Zion’s security and prosperity, and let your inner weather harmonize with it. In that revision, you awaken as the wall and the glory, everywhere and at all times, in the center of your being.

Practice This Now

Assume you are already there—Jerusalem now. Feel the fiery boundary around you and the inner glory shining at the center of your being.
