All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart. In the inner economy of Neville's teaching, 'families' are the many forms of consciousness you entertain—the loyalties, habits, and relationships you allow to govern you. 'That remain' points to what you tolerate, what endures in your mind. 'Every family apart' reveals a perception of inner separation: parts of your self not in communion, distrusting one another, isolated by past hurts. The phrase 'their wives apart' invites the feminine principle—the receptivity, unity, and nurturing energy—being parted from its mate, the masculine creative impulse. The verse then becomes a map of your inner weather: if you believe yourself divided, you experience a world of division. The invitation is to adopt a single, unifying state: I am the I AM, the unity of all I perceive, and every part of me is drawn into alignment by that assumption. When the inner life is whole, the outward life mirrors a seamless family.
