Biblical Context
These verses identify horns as the powers that scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. The four carpenters are sent to fray those horns and cast them out, restoring the land.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the Neville vantage, the horns are not outside forces but states of consciousness within you that scatter your sense of worth and identity. The land of Judah is your inner kingdom where the I AM, your awareness, now establishes order. The four carpenters are not ordinary men but the four faculties you awaken in mind: imagination, faith, will, and memory—instrumental in reconfiguring belief. When you understand that the horns derive their power from your attention, you can invite the carpenters to work within, fraying the threads of limitation and casting out the illusion of separation from your true self. As you revise your inner sense, you will notice the head begins to lift, not because of force from without but due to insight within. The prophecy is a map showing that inner change precedes outward restoration; by tending the inner state, you align with the I AM and the outward circumstances begin to harmonize with your newly established sense of self.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Sit quietly, breathe, and assume, 'I am the one who lifts up my head.' Visualize four carpenters at work within your mind trimming away the horns, and feel the rising confidence as your inner land returns to calm.
