Biblical Context
God's grace brings salvation to all, appearing to every heart. It teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, so we may live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, while looking for the blessed hope of Christ, who gave Himself to redeem us from iniquity and purify a people zealous for good works.
Neville's Inner Vision
Verse by verse, we are invited to see salvation as a present act of consciousness. The grace that brings salvation appears as your own I AM awakening to its true nature. Denying ungodliness and worldly lusts becomes the steady assumption that you are sober, righteous, and godly here and now, not by effort but by recognizing who you are. Look for that blessed hope—the appearing of the great God and our Savior—inside your awareness, where the divine manifests as clarity and intention. He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify unto Himself a peculiar people zealous of good works; this is the inner alignment of your being with divine purpose. These words carry authority because they describe what you can know now: you are free, you are clean, and you are called to live in harmony with the truth you already are. Let your present sense of self reflect this purification, and watch the outer world answer with the evidence of good works.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: In a quiet moment, assume the purified self who denies ungodliness. Feel the I AM governing your days as sober, righteous, and godly.
