Seed of Promise Within

Romans 9:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Romans 9 in context

Scripture Focus

7Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
Romans 9:7

Biblical Context

Not all who are the seed of Abraham are true children. True offspring come through the Promise, as Isaac did.

Neville's Inner Vision

Romans 9:7 tells us that lineage alone does not determine who is a child of the promise; the inner acceptance of a divine birth does. The seed is not in the flesh but in consciousness. I am the I AM, and the moment you realize that your offspring are the results of your inner creation—born of the Promise—you cease to chase external proofs. The verse points to Isaac as the sign that the covenant's heir is the certainty of faith, not the genealogy. Your true self is awakened not by outward circumstances but by a persistent inner assumption of the state: I am the seed of Abraham through promise. As you dwell in that state, you align your inner movements with the I AM, and the seed of your desires—health, harmony, wisdom—spring forth in accord with that faith. The Providence of love guides those who keep faith, not those who rely on prestige or birth. So, return again and again to the feeling that you are chosen by promise, and let imagination craft your reality accordingly.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the state I am the seed of Abraham through promise; feel the Isaac birth arising within you, and dwell in that certainty for a minute.
