5Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
Romans 9:5

Biblical Context

Romans 9:5 acknowledges the fathers' lineage and declares that Christ, though descended in the flesh, is over all and God blessed forever.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your 'fathers' are the long-accepted patterns of thought you inherited in your mind. Christ, as concerning the flesh, arrives as a living consciousness in you—an inner birth that is not from outside but from the I AM that animates your breath. He is over all; this inner Christ is the ruling king you have always worshiped in silence, the God blessed forever you affirm when you stand in awareness. The verse invites you to see that what seems to govern your life outwardly is the reflection of your interior state. When you persist in the assumption that you are the I AM, this inner king steps forward, dissolving resistance, reorganizing appearances, and rendering the world as a display of your inner sovereignty. You do not seek God outside; you awaken to God within, and true worship is simply the consistent awareness that you are that God, that presence, forever.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare I am the I AM; Christ within me reigns over all. Feel the inner king rising to the throne of my life.
