God raised Pharaoh to reveal His power, and He shows mercy to whom He wills and hardens whom He wills.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the inner theatre of your mind, Pharaoh is a fixed habit, a stubborn apartment of belief. The Scripture says God raised him up to display power in thee; meaning your I AM elevates a mental state you call resistance so that its workings become obvious to awareness. Mercy and hardening are not distant judgments but currents of consciousness you cultivate. When you dwell in mercy, you are the very state you seek; when you dwell in hardness, you are resisting your true nature as the I AM. The secret is to relax the resistance and assume the feeling of your desired state, knowing it is the power that already operates in you. Your imagination creates the scene; your awareness is the stage on which it unfolds, and the name of God is declared whenever you live as that power. Revise the Pharaoh by insisting, 'I am the power that raises and the mercy that frees,' until the inner state resonates as real.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the feeling of your desired state, then repeat, 'I am the I AM within me, raising up the state I choose,' letting the feeling of power flood your being.
