Romans 14:20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Paul warns not to destroy the work of God by judging or provoking offense. External things may be neutral, but causing offense reveals a consciousness in need of purification.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your 'work of God' is not a rule to govern meat or meals, but the living state of awareness you inhabit. The verse invites you to behold all things as pure in the divine reality you already are; offense arises not from externals but from a mind that judges and divides. In this light, 'eateth with offense' means allowing your consumption or opinions to wound the unity of consciousness. The spinal truth of Neville's method is: you are the I AM; imagination is the power that forms your world. If you feel separate, you are creating separation; if you forgive and hold to unity, you preserve the work of God in both yourself and others. Therefore, revise any belief that someone else's choices threaten your well-being; assume the state where every eating, every decision, and every encounter is nourished by love and all are harmless in the sight of the One Mind. When you dwell in that state, the outer scenes will reflect it without struggle.
Practice This Now
In the next moment, assume the state: I am the I AM, all is pure in consciousness; I choose love over offense and bless the people I meet. Then revise any memory of offense and feel it real that the work of God remains intact.
