Biblical Context
Romans 12:6 teaches that our gifts vary by grace and should be expressed in proportion to our faith.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your gifts are not random favors of fortune; they are the faculties that awaken within when you dwell in the I AM. The word grace here is your very mode of awareness; where you have more steadiness of belief, there you discover a stronger function of mind—prophecy, healing, insight, or inspired action. To prophesy, then, is simply to utter from the inner conviction that you have already realized it in consciousness. The measure of your prophecy corresponds to the proportion of faith you are willing to inhabit in the present. Do not seek outside confirmations; remind yourself that imagination creates reality and that your inner state paints your outer world. When you revise your self-image to include the very thing you seek, you unlock the gift appropriate to that faith level. The gifts differ because the grace of awareness varies; yet all are yours to claim by a disciplined, present-tense assumption.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: In a quiet moment, assume you already possess the gift of prophecy in the measure of your faith—feel it real. Then declare from the I AM, I prophesy according to my faith and let the inner vision rise.
