Scripture Focus

2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:2

Biblical Context

Do not conform to the outward world; be transformed by renewing your mind. This renewal enables you to prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your true Self is consciousness, the I AM that holds your life. Do not conform to the external spectacle, for the world you observe is only a stage of your own current state of mind. The transformation spoken of here is not external reform but an inward re-creation: you renew your mind by choosing a new state of awareness and assuming it as present. When you imagine yourself already that which you desire—the person who has steadfastness, wisdom, and right discernment—you set in motion the conditions that begin to appear. The I AM within you is the power that renews your mind, not some distant force; imagination creates reality and you are its conductor. The phrase 'will of God' is not a distant decree but the natural consequence of your inner state being in harmony with truth. Every belief of limitation is a mental habit; you break it by persistently inhabiting the truth you seek. If you dwell in the renewed state, you will no longer unconsciously echo the world's noise but reveal the good, the acceptable, and the perfect will as your experience.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and assume you are already the renewed mind; feel the calm, clear discernment as if it is now. Then rest in that state and observe the outward life begin to reflect it.
