Romans 10:17-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Romans 10 in context

Scripture Focus

17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
Romans 10:17-18

Biblical Context

Faith comes by hearing the word of God, and that inner hearing travels through the whole landscape of your mind, shaping what you experience. Your awareness is the field where this word travels to the ends of your world.

Neville's Inner Vision

Faith in Romans 10:17-18 is not a matter of listening to distant voices; it is an inner hearing, a turning of the attention to the Word of God within. The word of God is the living assumption you align with in the I AM that you are. When you fix your mind on that inner Word, faith arises as a definite state of consciousness, a conviction that this truth already exists. The sound mentioned in the verses is your own mental discourse translated into reality by inner agreement; it travels through the vast earth of your mind until it reaches the ends of the world. Do not seek the Word outside; the outer world answers to the inner hearing you permit. To hear is to accept; to accept is to be. Imagine you have already heard and accepted the Word as true, and feel it in your chest as present fact. The more you dwell in that Word, the more your life rearranges to reflect the truth you have proclaimed. This is the mechanism of faith: a revised state of consciousness lived until it becomes your manifested reality.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and assume you have already heard the Word of God in this moment. Feel the certainty rise as a present fact, and let your world adjust to that inner conviction.
