Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
An inner scene appears: souls beneath the altar, slain for the word of God, symbolize steadfast faith under pressure. The image invites us to understand suffering as a transformation of consciousness, not a loss.
Neville's Inner Vision
The fifth seal opens in your inner theatre, not as a spectacle of death but as a revelation of your state of awareness. The altar is the throne of consciousness, and the souls beneath it are facets of you you deemed separate from the Word you hold. You 'slain' them by choosing a higher truth—your testimony—over fear, lack, or doubt. The word of God you keep is your immutable idea, your I AM in action; this inner decision shifts what you experience. When you affirm that God is I AM and that you are that I AM, those slain parts arise as witnesses within, not victims to lament. Suffering becomes pressure, not punishment, pushing you toward a steadfast conviction that the future follows from your inner decree. The fifth seal signals a leap in consciousness: you move from conflict to harmony, from fear to faith, from separation to unity with the divine within. Dwelling at the altar, you recognize you are the ruler and the power of your own spiritual kingdom.
Practice This Now
Imaginatively, assume the I AM is witnessing the altar and declare, 'I am the Word of God in this moment.' Then feel the release as old beliefs fall away, generating a living sense of future peace.
