Glass Sea Vision

Revelation 4:6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 4 in context

Scripture Focus

6And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
Revelation 4:6

Biblical Context

The scene shows a crystal sea before the throne, with four beasts around and in the midst, eyes everywhere.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this vision, the throne is your I AM, your constant awareness. The sea of glass represents a purified, unshakable state of mind in which appearances pass without perturbing you. The four beasts with eyes before and behind symbolize the total faculties of consciousness—seeing, knowing, sensing, and remembering—ever watching all inner movements both now and past. When you dwell as the I AM, you place yourself at the center of the throne, and the crystal sea reflects the quiet, undramatic fact that you are the observer of all that arises. Imagination becomes the instrument by which you revise any sensation or circumstance into harmony, for nothing exists outside the awareness you claim as your own. The scene invites you to practice the steady assumption of being the king or queen of your inner kingdom, whereby external events align with your inner state as a natural outflow of consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume you are the I AM on the throne, and declare: I am the glassy sea of my consciousness, calm and observing; let the four eyes of awareness watch all that arises and passes.
