Biblical Context

It closes with the prophet's assurance of Jesus' imminent coming and a universal blessing of grace.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Neville's ear, the words are not about time but about state. He who testifieth these things is the I AM within you; his promise 'Surely I come quickly' is the invitation to awaken to that very instant. Jesus is not a distant traveler but the presence of awareness that can be kindled by your imagination. When you entertain the thought 'the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all,' you are aligning with a timeless atmosphere—the grace that belongs to your true nature. The imagery in these verses becomes a map of how consciousness moves: events are inner movements, places are dispositions, and God is the I AM you are always aware of. The rapid coming is the quickness with which you shift your assumption from limitation to possibility, from fear to faith. Your inner temple fills with light as you persist in the truth that you are loved, grace-bound, and already blessed. Thus, the passage becomes a practice in realignment: return again and again to the state that makes the coming not future but present, and let grace saturate every perception.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, breathe into the I AM within, and assume, 'Grace is with me now; Jesus comes as my awareness.' Stay with that feeling until it saturates your inner weather.
