Read Revelation 22 in context

Scripture Focus

16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Revelation 22:16-17

Biblical Context

The text presents an inner invitation: Christ within testifies through an inner messenger, inviting the thirsty to partake of the water of life freely. It proclaims an available, universal grace within reach of all who listen.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your I AM speaks as Jesus in you, and the angel is the inner messenger of imagination testifying to what is already true in your mind. I am the root and offspring of David, the authority of your inner kingdom, and the bright and morning star that pierces the night of limitation. The Spirit and the bride say, Come — your higher faculties and your awakened desire invite you to step into life. Let him that heareth say, Come — when you hear this invitation within, you repeat it in feeling. Let him that is athirst come — the thirst is your longing for life; do not resist it. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely — imagine drinking life, freely drawing from the continuous river of awareness that springs from the I AM. Redemption here is inner recognition: you consent to life now, in this moment, as your own inner reality.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling that you are already the source of life; in a moment of stillness, say, 'I am the water of life freely mine' and allow the sense of refreshment to rise as your own inner truth.
