Locking the Dragon Within
Revelation 20:1-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The scene portrays an angel binding the dragon, restraining Satan from deceiving the nations for a set period, until the thousand years are fulfilled.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the wardrobe of every mind, the dragon is fear and the belief in separation that gnaws at peace. The binding, the chain, and the seal are states of consciousness you enact by choosing I AM as your true self. When you affirm, 'I AM,' you lay hold of the dragon with unwavering awareness and cast him into the bottomless pit of your own thinking. For a season, your inner world becomes a kingdom where deception cannot take root, because your attention does not feed fear. The "nations" you see are merely projections of habit; once you stand in the one-tent state of the I AM, you no longer perceive them as threats. The loosening after the thousand years is simply a reminder to maintain the seal through ongoing, conscious anticipation of your unity with God. This is not external conquest but inner alignment—the end of the drama by the believer who dares to imagine from the end.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Close your eyes and declare, 'I AM,' the name of your true self. Imagine binding the dragon with a chain of awareness and sealing it into the pit—hold that feeling for a minute, then rest in the kingdom within.
