Revelation 19:4-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 19 in context

Scripture Focus

4And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
5And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
6And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
Revelation 19:4-6

Biblical Context

The passage shows beings worshiping on a throne and a loud declaration that God, the All-Powerful, reigns, inviting all states of mind to recognize divine sovereignty.

Neville's Inner Vision

I tell you that the vision of Revelation 19:4-6 is not a distant ceremony but a revelation of your inner kingdom. The four and twenty elders and the beasts are not others; they are the restless faculties and harmonized states of your own consciousness—praises, fears, loves, doubts—now bowing in alignment to the one I AM that sits on the throne of your mind. When the voice proclaims, 'Praise our God... both small and great,' you are invited to acknowledge that every state, whether seeming great or small, is summoned to its communion with the Source. The thunder, the waters, the multitude are the experiential sounds of your awareness when you assent to the truth that the Lord God omnipotent reigneth—your awareness reigning over appearances. See this scene as your present inner arrangement: the throne, the authority, the praise, all arising from within and declaring sovereignty over form. Practically, you revise your sense of self into the one who rules, rather than the one who is ruled.

Practice This Now

Assume now that I AM sits on the throne of my mind, and all states bow to my sovereign awareness. Feel the sensation of ruling appearances as the truth of God's reign within.
