Inner Judgment and Imagination

Revelation 16:1-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 16 in context

Scripture Focus

1And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
3And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
4And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
6For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
Revelation 16:1-7

Biblical Context

An oracle pours out judgments on the earth: plagues on those aligned with the beast, sea and rivers turning to blood, and a chorus affirming that God's judgments are true and righteous. These events symbolize inner-state correction that awakens awareness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the scenes of Revelation are not distant punishments but the self speaking to self. The earth, the sea, and the rivers are states of consciousness you have tacitly agreed to inhabit. The vial poured out upon the earth is the law of your I AM moving through belief until every hardened edge of fear cracks open. The mark of the beast you witness is not a thing out there but a belief you have clung to as if it were you; when that belief is fed, the sea and streams of life appear to die because you have withheld the living water from your inner heart. Yet the cry true and righteous are thy judgments is God in you affirming order—your inner governor restoring balance by exposing what is not true. The judgments you fear are only the soul's invitation to awaken to the Prince in you who forgives, accepts, and reclaims power through consciousness. When you refuse to resist this order, you become the vessel of your own purification.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and assume the statement, 'I am the I AM, and true judgments are mine now.' Feel that recognition as a warm, expanding sensation in the chest and hold it until it is real.
