Scripture Focus

18And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
Revelation 14:18

Biblical Context

An angel with power over fire emerges from the altar and commands the one with the sickle to harvest the earth’s vine, for its grapes are ripe. This signals a decisive moment of judgment and the fruit of inner states becoming outward reality.

Neville's Inner Vision

Take this vision as a map of your inner vineyard. The altar is the place within you where conviction is heated by fire—your living I AM. The angel who has power over that fire is a doorway of discernment, waking you to the truth that your world is a dream of your own imagining. When the cry is issued to thrust in the sharp sickle, it is not a call to violence but to decisive revision—to cut away the old form you no longer need and to harvest the fruit that your present consciousness has produced. The vine of the earth represents the material world enfolded by your senses, and the ripe grapes indicate that the harvest is ready because your inner state has ripened. So, the moment you assent to the I AM as the sole actor of your life, you set the sickle in motion and gather the fruit into awareness. Your awareness creates the scene; your revised feeling and imagination bring it into visible form.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and place the hand on the altar of your chest; feel the fire of I AM and whisper, 'I harvest my life now.' Then envision a bright sickle cutting through the vines, gathering ripe grapes into a bowl of light.
