Inner Reign of the I AM

Revelation 11:15-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 11 in context

Scripture Focus

15And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Revelation 11:15-18

Biblical Context

The vision declares that worldly kingdoms become the Lord's reign, and the elders bow in worship before God. It announces a time of judgment and reward for the prophets, saints, and those who fear His name.

Neville's Inner Vision

Imagine the seventh angel as a turning point inside you. The statement that the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ is not external history; it is the moment your awareness asserts sovereignty. The great voices in heaven are the harmonies of your I AM confirming that power resides in consciousness, not in outer institutions. The four and twenty elders bowing before God symbolize fixed inner dispositions you yield to the realized state of being—gratitude, reverence, and receptivity. When you acknowledge the Lord God Almighty as already present in you, you take unto yourself great power and you reign in your own life. The nations’ anger and the time of judgment point to inner clarity: you examine what your dreams have invited and you reward the prophets and saints within you—the highest virtues you cultivate, small and great. Thus, judgment becomes an inner alignment, and true worship is the steady recognition of your I AM reigning now, here, in your world.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the state that the kingdoms of the world are the Lord's and reign within you. Revise a current scene by silently declaring it and feel it real now.
