Scripture Focus

17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Revelation 1:17-18

Biblical Context

John sees a radiant Christ who calms his fear, declares eternal life, and holds the authority over death and hell.

Neville's Inner Vision

Behold the voice within you that says, Fear not; I am the first and the last. In this vision, the 'I' you are is not divided from the living One who speaks. He that liveth and was dead is the very texture of your awareness—you believed yourself mortal, yet your consciousness never dies. The resurrection spoken here is not a distant event but a shift in your inner state: you rise in consciousness from the dream of separation to the realization that you are alive forever in the I AM. The keys of hell and of death are the faculties by which you release fear, doubt, and limitation from within; you hold them as the sovereign authority of your mind. When you fall at his feet as one asleep to the old self, you awaken to the certainty that the eternal You remains untouched by appearances. The Christ within is the anchor of your perception, the light that conquers every night of sense-life. Trust this presence, and let your daily life reflect the unshakable truth that you live, you overcome, you reign.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the right hand of Christ resting on your shoulder, saying 'Fear not.' Then declare, 'I am the first and the last; I am alive now,' and feel the sense of empowerment as you take the keys of life into your own awareness.
