Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
John turns to see the voice speaking, and he beholds seven golden candlesticks with One like unto the Son of Man in their midst. His appearance—garment down to the feet, white hair, eyes of fire, and feet like brass—speaks of inner holiness and radiant, disciplined consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Turn inward and you will see that the vision is not out there, but within the theater of your own I AM. The seven candlesticks are the seven states of awareness you tend with attention; they burn brightly when you attend to truth. The Son of Man, clothed and girded, is your inner Christ, present wherever you affirm the I AM. White hair speaks of timeless wisdom; eyes of fire reveal a purified gaze that discerns truth and burns away fear. The feet, brass as they burn in a furnace, show a steadfast foundation under trials when you stand in your divine nature. The voice like many waters declares your reality with undeniable power from within. In his right hand are seven stars: the ideas and loyalties you govern in consciousness. From his mouth goes a sharp sword: the truth that cuts away illusions and conditions. His countenance shines as the sun in strength. This is the inner theophany you summon by faith and imagination, the God who is I AM revealing itself as your present life.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, declare 'I AM', and imagine the inner Christ before you; then revise any lack into fullness by repeating 'I AM' until the vision remains.
