As you read Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool, imagine that the Lord is not external but the I AM presence within you. Exalt means to raise your state of consciousness to a higher, clearer vantage point, and the footstool is the grounding of your being where thought and self-image sit. Worship at the footstool is your reverent attention turned toward the pure, holy core of your mind—your innate holiness shown as timeless awareness. This holiness is not distant ritual but the natural discipline of consciousness that refuses to identify with fear, lack, or limitation. When you acknowledge the I AM as your own, you align with the One Power within, and the inner world begins to shift accordingly. The verse invites you to consciously anchor your sense of self in holiness, letting it radiate into thoughts, feelings, and circumstances, so outer events reflect a renewed inner state. Remember, every exaltation of God is a restoration of your own divine identity.
