Inner Salvation Manifested

Psalms 98:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 98 in context

Scripture Focus

2The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
3He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
Psalms 98:2-3

Biblical Context

God’s salvation and righteousness are openly declared to all. Mercy and truth toward Israel reach the ends of the earth, so all see the salvation of God.

Neville's Inner Vision

To me, the psalm becomes a beacon for inner life. Salvation is the moment I realize I am the I AM, the living authority by which all scenes are created. When I dwell in that consciousness, righteousness stands openly in my sight—no longer a future hope but a present act of awareness. The 'heathen' outside me are merely the appearances that tempt me to doubt; yet they vanish when I refuse that doubt and return to the certainty of inner sight. Mercy and truth toward Israel become my memory of the covenant I keep with my own divine nature; as I persist, my world shows mercy and truth in every encounter. Then, as the inner state remains steady, all ends of the earth—the people and events around me—have seen the salvation of my God, because salvation here means the beloved, harmonious state of consciousness I inhabit now. Imagination is the instrument, and I claim the reality by assuming it and feeling it as real.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, affirm 'I AM the salvation of God now,' and dwell in that state until it feels as real as breath. Then revise a current doubt by imagining a scene where your inner righteousness is visible in your outer world.
