Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Psalm 97 proclaims the Lord’s sovereignty and invites the earth to rejoice. It also asserts divine justice against idols and invites true worship.
Neville's Inner Vision
Listen to the psalm as a map of your inner kingdom. The clouds and darkness around Him are the veils of confusion you once called real; yet righteousness and judgment are the throne’s dwelling place—where you keep your attention, you keep your world. A fire goes before Him, burning up enemies round about; that fire is the cleansing desire of your mind to be governed by the I AM rather than fear. His lightnings enlightened the world; the earth trembles and yet finds its center when your awareness extends as light. The hills melt like wax at the presence of the Lord—the obstacles dissolve when you acknowledge you are the ruler, here and now. The heavens declare His righteousness; your inner vision bears witness to truth that has always been within you. Idols crumble; Zion hears and rejoices because your judgments are aligned with your true nature. You are high above all—your consciousness is the throne above every thought. Love the Lord; hate evil by refusing it in your thinking. Light is sown for the righteous; rejoice in this holiness of your own being.
Practice This Now
Assume the state: I AM the reign of the Lord in my mind. Visualize a throne of light within; let this reigning consciousness burn away limitation, and feel your life respond in order and joy.
