Biblical Context
Psalm 96:8-9 invites you to bless the Lord by giving glory, bringing an offering, and entering the temple of your own consciousness; then worship in the beauty of holiness and reverence before God, the I AM within.
Neville's Inner Vision
Psalm 96:8-9 is a summons to dwell in the inner court of your consciousness. The 'glory due unto his name' is recognizing that the Lord you seek is the I AM in you; the 'offering' is the quality of your assumption—what you continually supply to that self through belief. To 'come into his courts' is to enter the sanctuary of awareness where life is conceived, not in a temple external, but in the mind that imagines. 'O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness' invites you to worship by aligning your thoughts, feelings, and every desire with the truth of your divine nature—holy, complete, present. 'fear before him, all the earth' becomes reverence for the one power you are, recognizing that all phenomena are reflections of your inner state. When you accept this, the outer world follows your inner decree. The practical law is simple: you are the state you assume. By keeping faith with that assumption, you awaken the inner court and walk in the presence that was always yours.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume you are already in the inner court. Say to the I AM, 'I offer this belief and accept Your presence,' and feel the truth of being embraced by holiness.
