Scripture Focus

10But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
11Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Psalms 92:10-12

Biblical Context

Psalm 92:10-12 speaks of the righteous being exalted and anointed with fresh oil. It foresees their flourishing—the palm and cedar of the inner life.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this psalm the horn raised is the mind's expanding awareness when I AM resides at the center. The horn is not a weapon against enemies but a witness that your attention has shifted from limitation to possibility. The 'fresh oil' is the living inspiration that pours from your awakened I AM into every thought, belief, and feeling. When you say 'my horn shalt thou exalt,' you acknowledge that your sense of self is not fixed by past conditions but by the state you assume in awareness. The enemies spoken of are the dreams and doubts that would resist your good; by revision and feeling it real you see them transformed into visitors whose power you no longer invite. The palm tree and cedar are not trees somewhere; they are states of consciousness that endure: light yet rooted, flexible yet steadfast. By maintaining a daily assumption of your desired reality—already true in you—you too shall flourish, luxuriant in spirit, casting shade and fragrance upon every circumstance.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are already anointed with fresh oil; feel the certainty of your desire fulfilled, and dwell in I AM as the atmosphere surrounding you.
