Scripture Focus

9All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
Psalms 86:8-9

Biblical Context

Psalm 86:8-9 states that the Lord is unsurpassed and His works are unmatched. It foresees all the nations He made coming to worship before Him and glorify His name.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the stillness of your consciousness there is a God you know as I AM; yet you may have given power to many lesser names. The psalm declares there is none like the Lord and that His works are unequaled. The meaning for you is plain: all the ‘nations’ you have imagined—your desires, plans, and fears—are made by your imagination, and they bow when you acknowledge the one sovereign I AM within. When you refuse to grant momentary power to any lesser state and declare that the I AM alone rules, those inner states soften, harmonize, and come to worship before the living you. The ‘name’ spoken here is not a person but your true Identity; glorifying it is the act of recognizing yourself as the source of all accomplishment. See your outer world as the faithful shadow of your inner conviction. The moment you hold the awareness that the I AM is the sole creator, you become the conductor of order, and the works of your life—circumstances, relationships, health—reveal the unity of that inward government.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling: I AM the Lord of all within me; every inner state comes to worship before me. Stay with that sense for a few minutes, then move through your day reconciling thoughts with that unity.
