Neville's Inner Vision

To Neville, the amiable tabernacles are the inner houses of the I AM that you carry within. God is not a distant temple but the very dwelling of awareness. When the psalmist calls the LORD of hosts, he names the mighty activity of consciousness that hosts every thought and feeling inside a sanctuary you can enter by assumption. The tabernacle is a state of consciousness, not a building of stone. Worship becomes alignment of attention with that inner reality, a moment of quiet within where no matter what appears on the outer stage can disturb the sacred space. The Presence of God is not outside you; it is your awareness itself, the sense I AM that stands unmoved while the world moves. Separating holiness from profane noise means entering the inner temple and letting the day’s clamor fade to the door behind you. Thus, Psalm 84:1 is the invitation to honor your inner dwelling, to rest in the truth that you are amiable to the divine when you dwell as the I AM in your own tabernacle.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and assume you are already inside the inner tabernacle of your awareness. Breathe the calm I AM presence and let it feel real in body and mind.
